Glass rods as promised. They arrived wrapped together in a bubble-wrap cylinder, cushioned from outside, all in contact with one another inside. None were chipped, all intact.The rod ends are crudely finished; no sharp edges but some are quite lopsided and few are well rounded. If I cared, I could refine them all easily in a burner flame.The longest two sizes are really too long for anything I have in mind. They'll live an idle life.They're of decent diameter, all the same, likely strong enough for all but very rough use. Presumably they are untempered soda glass.Good enough. Fit for purpose. Inexpensive. I'll use them till they break. No regrets.

Needed to have long glass rods for tall flask and test tubes for laboratory props for a production of Jekyll and Hyde. This was the only seller on Amazon I could find that had rods longer than 12". This set included 15" and they will work great.
