I finally retired my old Radio Shack test leads after 20 years and went looking for new ones. Ran across these and ordered a set - my how things have changed. These are far and away a solid upgrade to what I'd been using - decent length, heavier gauge wire and nice grippy clips. Nothing to complain about at all except that I didn't get them sooner.

Nice set of low voltage test leads, or jumper leads, however you use them. Flexible, bright colored, two of each color, total of 12 wires. Small alligator clips with vinyl boots.

I like these, they seem okay, the wire gauge seems fine. The silicone boots really aren't quite long enough to protect the ends of the alligator clips, it would be nice if they were a little bit longer so they could be pulled back to expose the end of the cliff or slid forward to fully protect the clip and whatever it's attached to. As is, it worked for me, but if the silicon boots were 10% longer, it would be much more useful. Just a bad design, get what you pay for but good value for the money and it's okay.

These are well made. The covers are flexible but tough. The jaws grip tightly and well and I have used them around the outer conductor of an RCA connector and for a fine Arduino connection wire, both were held well even when jostled. They are a good length, but if needed they can be joined to each other (teeth crossed) and the cover slid forward so that there is not exposed (electrified) jaw at the join. Excellent choice.

Good leads with solder wire connections capable of carrying a couple amps without melting, well worth the extra few dollars
