Used these on my ls3 build. I actually torqued them down then had to remove the heads a second time because i installed a cam and wanted to change my lifters. So i actually torqued them down twice and they held. Stock build so im running 75 ft/lbs with no issues so far.Used the specs from ARP website but did not go to 100 ft lbs.

i bought these knowing they're cheap. wasn't expecting much though i wanted studs instead of bolts. this was a cheap alternative to ARP. i have these on an LS1 turbo build running 16LBS of boost and holding up just fine. used the ARP torque chart. they worked well enough i bought a couple more sets and used on some high compression builds (11:1) and they're running fine . i'll buy more soon. this set is the older style up to 03 year model.

These cylinder head studs are a good upgrade to bolt type. Cost is a fraction of the well known, name brand, stud kits but have 168,000 to 220,000 psi tensile strength. For some reason this kit is supposed to fit older motors (up to 2003) but fits my 2004 and 2005 Chevy 4.8L, cast iron, truck blocks with 706 heads. Torquing procedures are the same as the ARP sets (do not Torque & Turn - use 3-stage straight torquing 25, 50, & 80 ft lbs with lube).

I like the idea of these being reusable and only costing $10 more than a set of tty head bolts. Following ARP instructions of 25 then 50 then 70 lb/ft on the large studs then 28 lb/ft on the smaller studs. The larger nuts toqued up great with no problems. The smaller 5/16†studs not so much. The final stud on the first head just started spinning at 28lb/ft. For some reason my kit came with an extra small stud. Awesome except I couldn’t get the stripped nut off the stripped stud. Quick run to autozone to get some 5/16â€-24 fine thread nuts. All said and done 3 of the smaller nuts stripped out and damaged the studs.I know that people have had good luck with these and I know these are 1/5 the price of the arp studs but they didn’t do what they’re supposed to do for me at least.

I would not say ARP equivalent by any means but for a budget build send em. Followed ARPS torque specs 25, 50 than 85 for mains and 28 for the smalls nothing broke went smooth. Came with 1 extra long and 1 extra medium. No extra nuts though. 1 nut was flawed a crack was very visible from the bottom 2 Threads down all the way through. Luckily I had an extra from a previous set. All else though they’re solid for the money but like others have said I wouldn’t trust em with much more than 85lbs. Great for built N/A LS. Idk about boost with these just cause the price. That’s your risk though 🤷â€â™‚ï¸

They worked perfect on my 6.0 turbo ls. Zero issues used bolt grease and these tighted up perfect. I will never know why someone would spend more on the competition but these are perfect.

Studs installed good, but washers were to small for the larger bolts. Now I have a ton of drilling to do to finish this job. Other than that they seem to be exactly as I'd expected. Quality seems good so far other than the washer issue.
Delivered the next day and a perfect fit

They seem to be as good as arp head studs fraction of the price

Fit my 2001 gmc sierra 1500 with the 4.8l vortec. Good option for a stock replacement. Does not come with torque gease. I followed arp's torquing instructions

They are ok. Seem to do the trick. You can yell they are not high quality. I used arp spec for torque time will tell. Ideally they will be reusable multiple times. Time will tell.
