Not sure why these other reviews are saying that they break at 80 or 90lbs of torque. ARP studs spec max torque is 75lbs. So if you think these cheap studs can take more than ARP. Then your dumb. They are cheap for a reason. When I use these I try not to exceed 60-65ft lbs because they will twist. Also would only recommend to using them once and then trash them for a new set of cheap ones. Threads seem to get messed up and sometimes the nuts don't come back off after being torque down.

HAD a brand new motor. Used these bolts. Over time the must have losened causing the head to literally blow out not even reparable($800). Bought another new head. ($800) Torqued them last night to 90 lbs. Do a recheck this afternoon before reassembling everything and you would've never thought we torqued them down. Upon trying to tighten one, (it was still turning) it snapped off in the block. Now, we have 20+ years building race car motors and have never had this issue. We are now out over $10,000 because we can not get the end that broke off out. We originally ordered arp but due to pandemic they sent us the wrong ones and claimed they wouldn't have the correct ones until February which was 8 months away at this point. So these were the only ones even available at the time. I don't understand how this company can stand behind this, this has caused us an ungodly amount of wasted time and money. DO NOT BUY.

The studs installed just fine, after installing gaskets and heads I torqued the bolts in 3 stages 15ftlbs, 35ftlbs, then 65ftlbs final (the small ones go 15lbs, then 22ftlbs). I would imagine people breaking the studs are trying to torque them to 75-80ftlbs. The factory TTY bolts are single use and should not be reused
