I decided to convert an old car radio into a garage stereo system. Car radios require a 12 volt DC power supply and this device delivers it nicely. There are many videos on Youtube that show you how to mount everything into a tool box or a plastic box. This was a fun Saturday project: a toolbox ghetto blaster well made and sturdy but may require an old computer cpu fan to keep the heat down inside the toolbox. 5 stars for this AC to DC power supply
