Short circuit protection works well. Had a buck converter fail and the Unit refused to power on. Connected a motor to it directly and sure enough, it works fine. It's a nice, inexpensive power supply for lights or projects.

It came pre calibrated at precisely 24v, and also has a potentiometer for finer voltage adjustments if needed. I draw a small level of current, and it has remained cool. A good product.

This power supply is barely better than a USB battery. The output is very unstable and not usable. Upon return of a useless item they make you pay for shipping for something that will not meet stated needs. The high voltage terminals are too small to accept standard size connections for power cords and this makes it an unsafe item.
