I have a small farm and with it then need to fix, repair or work on things year round. My shop was heated before by propane, 20lb bottle with a burner attached. Not the best but when matched with a fan it knocked the chill off. Except below 20 degrees F. That and the constant need to exchange bottles had become a chore. Time for a change. Since I had plenty of diesel on hand for the tractor this little gem came to my attention via the webs through video. I have Experiance with these style of heaters through the Army so it was a no brainer to purchase once I became aware that one could purchase them. It works like a champ, even down to 14 degrees F currently and warms the shop up adequately. One thing I did changed was the power supply, marketed as a vehicle auxiliary heater I didn't want a battery and charger underfoot so I used a 12V/120V power supply and cigarette/aux connector extension to supply juice from my shops power. Presto, clean heat without the worries of CO2 contamination, propane bottles or hot heating elements. Easy to instal, plumb and wire if your are the least bit mechanically inclined. I have not yet timed the fuel consumption yet but diesel is much more economical than propane at the moment also I can leave the shop and not have to worry about one of the kids wandering in and possibly burning themselves or inadvertently starting a fire. Solid wind all around!

would give it all five stars if the cotrol would have a time/programed time on and off, but otherwise works great so far.also would be nice if it came with the lifted plater instead of the flat one.

Overall it looks nice, comes with everything you need to run duct work. However after starting and stopping the heater checking to see if I would have any problems I found it's not a reliable. I wouldn't trust this to start if you are in a need of heat everytime. Over a two day period I had several errors codes from fan fault, fuel fault the last one it wouldn't start saying it read a high voltage. The battery I was using was at 12.6 volts and had dropped to 12 volts so I charged the battery back to the 12.6 so there was not any reson For it to think it was over voltage. After charging it back to 12.6 volts it started and ran. If I need to run a vehicle to keep a battery at 12.6 volts than I can just use the heat of the vehicle. Wouldn't work for what I wanted.

Parts that you receive in the mail are not the same parts advertised. For one, the fuel line should be a hard plastic line which is advertised, but you will receive a cheap rubber flexible one that will have to be replaced within a year. Most of the parts in this kit are pretty low quality. The fuel pump is extremely loud and does not prime with the flexible rubber fuel line. Not a good value, plan on replacing most parts very soon after purchase.
