First off pump does not come with hoses. Not a big deal. Second the clamps it comes with are a bit cheap. However thatΓ’β¬β’s the only complaint I would have. The pump itself was used numerous times during the recent hurricane that hit Houston. I was able to pump gas from one container to another with ease. It seems faster than the gas station pumps, which is impressive to me. I cannot speak on quality itself or durability but by far itΓ’β¬β’s money well spent. Not only does this work on gasoline which is hard to find itself, but it transfers 40gallons with ease. Anybody looking for a gasoline pump that easy to handle and transfer at a good flow rate, this is highly recommended.

Pump works great the fitting leaked the Teflon that it came with didnt stop it i had to use pipe dope to get it to stop leaking the nozzle is junk the valve wont close spilt gas everywhere I had to buy a good nozzle on Amazon with auto shutoff. after I tried to get a partial refund for it I was told they can't do that by Amazon support the pump 5 stars the nozzle zero stars

UPDATE: We have literally used this pump THREE times and the handle has broke. Now when you turn on the pump, diesel fuel is sprayed EVERYWHERE and wont shut off until you turn the unit off.Can't figure out how to get with the seller for resolution.Referred the old pump to assemble the new pump. The instructions should be burned. Absolutely useless.Install wasnΓ’β¬β’t bad, parts okay quality. Had leaks. Needed to use pipe dope AND the supplied thread tape to get a good seal.Only time will tell for the durability of this unit.

Very happy with the fuel transfer pump. It will empty a gas tank faster than typical pumps.NOTE: no hoses come with it. Need a run to hardware store or auto parts store for 2 hoses and clamps, what ever length you need.

We ordered this in June of 2024 and by August the pump was no longer working. Will not order another.
