I got this because the champion 3000lbs winch that I bought, came with a massive solenoid/switch combo. I took the wires from that combo and bought this set for the solenoid and the smaller rocker switch. Install went smooth. Mounted right in and this even came with instructions for how to hook up. Rocker switch is nice and works like it should. Switch Comes with a ton of wire. You can cut it shorter and put new ends on if you don’t want all that extra hanging around for a ATV install. For now I’m super excited to have my winch working instead of just mounted to the ATV. Not sure how long the solenoid will last or how well the rocker switch will do in the elements, but doing great for now. So far I’m happy.

set up was easy and directions were good. plently of wire length. as with others i replaced ot with the original champion 2500 winch controller with the 80's design. as i was re-spooling the winch cable the winch in relay overheated and shut down but as soon as it cooled down it started working again, not sure if it is designed that way. the switch has good feedback and feels of good quality, many different ways to mount it. would i buy this again? I sure would.i give it five thumbs up! 👠👠👠👠ðŸ‘

I have 2 of these now mounted on separate 4 wheelers with 3500# winches used in horrible conditions(snow removal/plow operations) and they haven't skipped a beat yet. My original install worked flawlessly in a severe rainstorm diving across a slushy lake when the winch controller on my other 4 wheeler shorted out and turned on the winch. Switched to this controller and problem solved instantly

Ok so this thing comes with no diagram. So to help the next person, the black and red stud is for the power and ground wire coming from the battery. The blue stud is for the red wire coming from the winch, and the yellow wire is for the black wire coming from the winch. I kinda made me mad that I was not able to find this simple information any ware from the seller. Hope I could help.

Normally don't write reviews but Street a couple negative ones I read I had to, this came with proper instructions and the controller was labeled, easy to install and works perfect
