Let me say that there were no garden hose adapters included with pump as shown in the description. I noted this through customer service and I am working directly with the seller. I am confident that they will make this right.I got this to replace a 40 year old pump on a 12 gallon ATV tank sprayer. It is finally worn to the point of leaking in the pump housing. I could not find parts for it, so decided to replace it. This pump is rated the same as the old one but adds a pressure switch and strainer to the system. I will need to work on getting that setup once I install it later this summer.In the meantime I needed to empty an old water bed and decided to use this pump for that. I hooked it up to a portable deep cycle battery and some garden hoses and started pumping. It had no problem priming and was able to run continuously without complaining. After about 30 minutes the motor housing started getting hot. So I shut it off and let it cool down. It took over 2 hours to empty the bed, but it would have take longer with a syphon and left a lot of water in the bladder. The pump was able to get it down to nearly nothing.Like others have said, I am giving it 5 stars because it works great. Hopefully it lasts. I will be spraying herbicides on several acres this summer, so I expect it to last for many years with only occasional use. I will update the review if I encounter any problems after installation on the tank sprayer.

I ordered this pump to replace another 12V Pump that failed after about 4 months of use, granted that pump was rated for Fresh Water. It has two purposes: The first is to dispense diluted 3-6% Sodium Hypochlorite Solution directly from a 100 gallon container through a 50 ft hose with a low pressure sprayer on the other end, and the second is to transfer the solution in and out from that container.At 60PSI it serves its first purpose well. It is mounted on a covered metal crate on a trailer and connected to an auxiliary 12v source and a switch, with the tank at high volume the self priming works great but i noticed that at lower pressures sometimes it struggles to get started, i am unsure if it has to do with the nature of added viscosity by the Sodium Hypochlorite but once it primes, it works flawlessly.For its second purpose, well, 2.5 GPM isn't super fast, and takes a good 45 mins to fill the 100 Gallon Container on my trailer, but its not the pumps fault it's advertised as 2.5 GPM and maybe if it falls slightly below that rate it'd close enough and again i don't know what the SH is doing to the drag coefficient of the liquid.The main reason it was a 4 star and not a 5 star product for me is because this pump is pretty much identical to the one it replaced (except for the pre-filter/strainer), i disassembled it and the diaphragm looks identical to the one from the pump that was broken, probably due to to the SH, even when it was flushed with pure water after use, the body of the old one didn't show wear or corrosion, but the diaphragm was pretty much melted on the old one, and sure, this one may be a different material, but looks EXACTLY the same with a different brand.That one was 3GPM @ 40-100 PSI (it did fill the container a little faster) $39 and was purchased about 6 months ago until the day it failed and this one replaced it, so this one lags a little behind and it's pricier.If it lasts 1 year dispensing/moving Sodium Hypochlorite, i promise i will come back and update it and rate it 5 Stars.I still recommend this item for how it performs.

I use a lot of these pumps in my off-grid homestead and I get my water for the house, barn, and various outbuildings from collecting it off the roof (you can do that in free states in the east...). One of these small diaphragm pumps and a pressure tank and the house system works fine. They generally last 2-3 years before either the pressure switch goes bad or the motor needs new brushes. Sometimes getting parts can cost almost as much as buying a new pump so I usually have 2-3 new or rebuilt ones on hand ready to drop in when one starts to go bad.The only real variable will be how long it lasts. I didn't need to replace the current pump but since I am doing Vine evaluating, I dropped it into my system and have the old pump as one of the backups. So far with a full day of running the barn water system it works as I expect it. If this pump lasts more than a year then it'll keep its 5 stars. If it dies quickly or has other problems I'll reduce the rating as appropriate.

Bought this to build a sprayer, but was surprised to see the manual included for "RV/Marine".Pump physical size and design is similar to what is in my camper, including the rubber bushing mounts in the footing. That other pump in my camper is a Shurflo branded one. Materials used and fit/finish are on par with the one in my camper.When running the pump, it has the usual/similar noise level which is minimal but works well enough to pop the factory dust plug out using air pressure alone. Everything included is enough to plumb in to a sprayer system built from scratch, just add a tank, hose and hose clamps. The screen filter and adapters all line up to work with pump fittings, again, just add hose.

This pump works really well for my DIY project. It has a solid build, works conveniently off of 12 volts and the gpm rating is accurate. I won't be using harsh chemicals but knowing that it can withstand them, I believe shows that the product is built of quality materials. It's easy to install in various areas. It's not very loud but it's audible of course because it moves a lot of liquid. Good value for this type of pump.

This 12V Sprayer Pump is perfect for any spraying job you might have. I am using it for agricultural spraying of herbicides in my orchard and it is doing an excellent job.
