Great quality, great packaging, I framed a 16x20 photo with this. I guess I would've liked this to have been an off-white rather than a pure white, so more colors to choose from would be great!

I loved it it gave me an option to use a white side or black. It so happens that I tried both with a painting and the black one looked better. Love that flexibility and did not have to buy another mat. I will buy this again soon.

The white front isn't a nice clean white - it's almost like they took a gray matboard and just put a piece of white paper over it - which wouldn't be bad if it was nice and thick. But whatever paper they used is pretty flimsy and you can see the gray throught it, so it looks almost a bit dirty and not the sharp clean white you usually get with white mats. I thought about using the back of it and would have if it was black (as advertised) but it's really gray. And as far as a beveled edge? You can see maybe 1/16th of an inch of the gray (again, NOT BLACK) and there is no beveled edge. I didn't have time to return it and really am not happy I had to give a gift with this quality, but lesson learned. Go to a matboard online store (which is what I usually do but I thought I'd give another store a try) and get a good quality product. This misses the mark.

Really set off my parents’ wedding photo, which is in black and white. That black made all the difference. Would definitely recommend to anyone framing a black and white photo.

Stay away from this purchase! I ignored similar review and I regret it.Really disappointed with this item - doubly so since a single one costs about as much as a 10 pack of plain white. Thought the extra money would mean higher quality, two-tone mat that justified the price - I was wrong.Front of mat is really low quality white paper that isn't a nice, even white - looks like a dirty gray since black back layer seeps through. Additionally, inner corner cuts around picture aren't clean - can see cut lines extending past the inner rectangle. Literally thought front was a protective coating I had to peel off when I first opened package.

The picture showed the mat to have a black inner boarder but it did not. I will order a different mat and will be returning this one.
