The body of the monocular is built by hard rubber, has a good feeling of touch and is perfect to put in backpack while no hurt anything else. Focusing can be done quickly with one finger, either left or right handed. There are many compact monoculars to choose from. Many less expensive and many more expensive. I am glad I got this one.

What a great monocular. 12x zoom allows you to see far and 50mm aperture lets a lot of light in to see better in low light settings. Image clarity is great. The focusing is easy and can be done with just one hand. The rubber material used to make the product feels both solid, waterproof, and great in your hand. Best of all, you have half the weight than if you were carrying around binoculars. If you like to move about freely and as light as possible, this is perfect for you. Capable for being attached to a tripod and comes with a phone mount if you want to take pictures through the monocular. Highly recommend for all outdoors people.

Although this was not a company I recognized we wanted to get this monocular. We do quite a bit of bird watching from our home due to being outside the city.We have several binoculars and one other monocular by other brands that are better than these. The vision is wider and clarity better. These aren't bad but they just don't match up.We also had a problem with focusing that was sticking and not working correctly. All of this leads to a three star review for this monocular.

The magnification and overall brightness are good. Of course a 12X becomes somewhat unstable but it's still manageable, while the 50mm allows for enough light to enter at that magnification to use it in twilight situations with sufficient clarity. Although there are arguments about Schott BAF4 vs. Chinese BAF4 prism meaning different things, it's quite nice and especially for the price. The smartphone holder is a nice idea but I never find it to work well enough to both. The phone captures a partial image (round) that needs to be cropped. But mostly it's not the most stable way to keep phone camera and monocular aligned.

Compete and utter waste of money. Very poor focus, unusable.
