Directions were easy to follow, just take your time! Very happy with the product, and I can make another for my 5 gallon tank if needed.My only wish, is that the net material was a metal mesh. It would be easier to clean, but this works great!I like the magnetic on/off, and I was able to get a great seal to prevent any escaping critters.

Usually i don’t write reviews, but this product make me so happy i have been for a long time looking for a cover for my aquariums and i end up found this one i look the reviews and some bad ones make me think about, but i take a chance and wowJust one kit was enough for both aquariums a 75 gallons and a 15 gallon.Is super easy to make it just take some time if you wanna make it look perfect and niceFor both aquariums took about 30 min and the net feels pretty solid and the magnetic is strongI really recommend it if you looking make you aquarium nice.Also i wish give 100 starsAmazing

Easy to install but definitely need two people to install on a 75 gallon tank. Plenty of mesh netting left over for another smaller tank but not much leftover magnetic strips to be able to do another tank. I’m happy with the results after installation. This will stop the fish from jumping out of my tank. Would buy again.

My 40g tank for years had the typical folding glass lid. That lid would get a buildup of slime and goopy stuff that all glass lids get. It also would create this haze over it that didn't allow you to see in from the top unless it was cleaned very regularly. With this simple mesh lid all those issues are solved. The aquarium light shines through the mesh much better than foggy glass and no more annoying center black strip on the folding glass lid. With a little time and patience, you can get the mesh to stretch across the top nicely and cutting out pieces for filters & airlines is simple. I wasn't able to use the spare parts to make another lid like some reviews suggested, they must of had a smaller tank. I can easily see being able to do two 10-20 gallon tanks with one kit however. 5 star, buying again for my other tanks. Just be cautious of heat loss going from a solid lid to this. Some fish may want a higher temp and that's a bit harder to maintain with this mesh top.

Easy to install and to lift the for feeding or remove for cleaning.Some photos on this listing show black edging and black netting. My net is black but the edging is brown. Still looks great, barely noticeable just thought I’d mention it.

I had hope that this would be a great solution for my 4x2 150g. Bought that with no lid and needed an easy and cheap solution. It was very easy to custom fit and actually went better than expected. The problem was when I took the lid off after cutting it out. It wanted to curl and bend and became difficult to get back into place without one or more corners dipping in the water. You may have better results on a smaller tank as it does hold well once you are actually able to get it into place. Overall doesn’t work for me and I’ll have to find another way to cover my tank

I was apprehensive due to reviews saying that this wasn’t easy to install. I had it done in under half an hour for a 55 gallon tank.Now as a person who is illiterate when it comes to putting a product together, I did it with ease.Time will tell how it holds up but the magnets worked fine (yeah okay if you’re like me you had to try again in a spot or two because your guess and measure technique isn’t up to par). If there is too much tension physics comes into play and the magnets appear to suck. It’s their best magic trick to date.I’m overall happy. I can’t fault a product because of my own user errors that I fixed. Enough said, if you need a cheap way to keep your fish in and your cats out this is great without having to replace those glass lids every week because the cats don’t learn

Purchased this to complete my custom lid/frame, on an old 55 gallon fish tank that needed frame work redone completely (plastic one was broken). I found it easy to work with and trim to get looking clean. The plastic pieces for the corners really give it a finished look.That said, the PVC materials are *brown*, not black (I knew this ahead of purchasing). My new frame is stained wood, so it matches almost perfectly; but it will be noticeable on darker trims.My only criticism is the mesh material is absolutely not strong enough to support the weight of a cat, should your feline friend decide to jump on top of the tank. Maybe a small cat (5lbs or less) or a kitten.

Love this would recommend it if you have fish that try to escape the tank was a pain. To kind of set up but once set up is awesome. And is awesome. Security

By 80% of what you want I mean first off, it’s brown not black. The screen holes are pretty big. The corners don’t clip properly. The use of super glue helps a lot to make it stiffer.
