The female threaded ports are NOT tapered NPT thread, rather they are some sort of unspecified straight thread. Pipe fittings bottom-out before tightening and no amount of teflon tape and/or pipe sealant will keep them from leaking. Very, poor thread specs.UDATED 3/11/25Because of my review, above, I was contacted by the Seller and offered a full refund, which I accepted. This was weeks after the return window had expired. Five Stars to Duxing Home (YMYP) for standing behind their product.

This product is pretty good. I depend on strainers to take out all the containments flowing through. I like the quality of this. It seems to be built very sturdy making it going to last me awhile. I like how it has a clear cover letting me see when I need to clean out the strainer making it easy for me. Overall I’m pretty impressed and definitely like being able to see the flow. I do recommend this product
