If you have a small portable compressor, this is the perfect size. I have a 6 gallon pancake compressor I use for outdoor projects and if I need to do work outside my garage. I don't have issues with water when using it but a filter separator is always a good idea. It is quite compact, will probably only hold a little more than 1oz of water. I did take it apart prior to testing and found it to be of good quality. It is a typical design that I have used before and works just fine. I was able to install standard I/M airline fittings with no problem. I leak tested it to 115 psi with no leaks. I typically only run between 75-95 psi but wanted to crank it up a bit to make sure all was good. Another review stated you needed special fitting but that is incorrect, 1/4 npt fitting fit perfectly and will not leak if properly sealed. When I unboxed it the small parts were just loose and could have easily got lost during handling and shipping. I like that the bracket can be attached in many configurations. It can be mounted to the wall from either side (just put the bracket on the other side; the threaded hole will line up on either side). You can even install the bracket with the wall tab up or down. So there are four ways to mount this. It's very versatile if your air hose needs to go in a certain direction relative to the wall.The extra filter element means you can soak and clean one filter element while still using this unit. Depending on how much you use it, you might only need to do this twice a year, but it's nice to have an extra filter element.

I received a used item with missing screws for the mounting plate. There is dried liquid residue inside the moisture trap which indicates prior use. The extra micro filter is disintegrating. Overall, a terrible experience.

I can't confirm whether or not it's actually a used product, but it doesn't come with any of the normal rubber plugs that protect the threads on a new product and everything was just rattling around inside the box. One of the connectors seems nice and clean, but the other one was packed with some sort of crud.I did connect it and use it and it did seem to work without any detectable leaks, but I don't know how well it was drying the air (if at all). I don't hate it, but if I had paid full price for this, I would have returned it. There are far better options out there.

Pros: Clear vessel so you can see when it is getting full. Sturdy and well made. Comes with a spare filter.Cons: A little small if you are moving a lot of air or have high humidity you may want to get a little larger version.Summary: Excellent for protecting your air tools from damage from moisture or oil from the compressor.

So far so good. Small Air dryer, running in line. with a holding tank and a plasma cutter. No issues so far. It's worth noting that this is 1/4" PT, and not NPT. I missed that at first and had to scramble around the shop to find fitting that work. Mine arrived new, was not used, and had an extra filter, screws, and a bracket. For the price it's a great deal.

This filter works as expected. It's easy to install. It doesn't leak and seems to be good quality.
