The Brazier Head Rivet is a solid rivet that requires a bucking tool to install properly. It has a dome shaped head and a solid shank that gets deformed when compressed to secure the panels it is inserted into. I got these 1/4" by 1/2" rivets as I needed this size.I noticed these rivets are not beveled at the end (see photo), so if the hole is a tight 1/4" then it will be a little more effort to get the rivet in.I have bought other rivets that are beveled, but considering these are a few dollars cheaper, I think it's a good trade off.I did a quick test with a light hammer, and confirmed to myself I'll be using a 3lb hammer to set these rivets as the rivets take a lot of effort to compress.

The rivets are true to size and worked well on my aluminum boat repairs. There are better quality rivets available for a higher price but ultimately these well work just as well as long as they are properly installed.

They get the job done, time will tell how well they hold up. Had to fix a panel on a bus and thought I'd try these since I would get them quickly. They aren't the same quality as others I've used but for the price I can't complain.
