So bought this little chain for easy stuff around the house and what not. First thing, it rusted within a week. But let me tell you how strong it is.Found a downed 100 foot long by 2 and a half foot diameter tree across the driveway, hooked the chain up and pulled it up the driveway around the garage. The tree caught the front end of a Lincoln Town car and ripped it sideways into my garage, into my lawnmower cart, crushing that thing and blasting it right through my garage door. (May have been going a bit too fast up the driveway. 🤣)The chain is still in perfect brand new condition, 🤣 throughout all of that mayhem. (Minus the rust.)The chain then pulled said car away from garage.From the pure strength of this little chain, I will definitely be purchasing a longer one if available.Totally recommend based on my first hand experience.

I bought this chain for the purpose of pulling out a couple dead evergreen trees on my property. The trees were only a couple years old, so they hadn't had much time to form long roots. The trunks were only 5" diameter at the base of the trees. I thoroughly watered the tree wells and let the water soften the ground for 24 hours before attempting to pull the trees out of the ground. The next morning I affixed one end of the chain around the base of the tree and attached the other end to the trailer hitch on my Tacoma. I slowly drove forward and the trees came right out of the ground. Easy-peasy. The $26 I spent on this chain was well worth the money considering the time and effort it saved me if I had to dig those trees out of the ground by hand. (Note: I first tried to pull out the trees using a nylon tow rope about 2" in diameter, but the rope broke in half on the first attempt and didn't budge the tree at all.)

We got this chain to secure a couple of items in our carport after someone tried to break in. We don't use the hook part but attach the chain ends together with a lock and connect it to a stable object. By the time someone even has a chance on trying to cut through this, our dogs and the neighbors dogs will have alerted everyone in the neighborhood that something's amiss. Great buy.

Chain arrived quickly. Links are welded well. Chain is heavy, comes with hooks connected so its ready to use.Only had it 2 days and already pulled my neighbors tractor out of a bog with it.Good solid chain.

This 1/4 inch dia. chain works real well. It's heavy enough for most towing/pulling operations but not too heavy like larger dia. chains. It has the end hooks already installed and is easy to use.
