Shipped fast and arrived in about a week. Packaged really well with ample foam protection and each part boxed individually. Was a bit tricky to setup and manual wasn’t any help so it takes a bit figuring out how to “build” the EQ mount/tripod but wasn’t too difficult and made sense.Learning to use and adjust/find planets with the EQ mount is a VERY steep learning curve even after watching many videos about it online beforehand (in retrospect wish I had gotten a telescope with an Alt/Az “regular” tripod mount but oh well), it is my very first telescope so still happy to learn the EQ type setup. It’s built very durable and heavy duty construction so expect it to last a long time. With using it though, it seemed to be VERY shaky even with it all tightened down so that made the fine tuning/extended handles important but still had a ton of unwanted movement so that was annoying (still not sure if that’s user error/supposed to be that way/or has really bad loose gearing). The other issue were the eye pieces, so within one session has me searching for much better eye pieces. The ones that come with it are so so, but seems like a better set would make a huge improvement so going to order better ones and a camera attachment adapter.Did not come with any cell phone or camera adapter so have to order one separately and find/make some kind of cover and storage bag solution.

I am interested in astronomy, animal world and design. I am not interested in the game. I was able to see the moon and its holes with this telescope. I'm not sure I can see Saturn and Jupiter very well.

For the money there is nothing wrong with this telescope or mount. Scope is well made, mount, marginal. Had to put some masking tape under the mount head tio stiop it from rotating on the horizontak axis. No matter hiw hard I tried, I couldn't make the nut tight enough. Once north is set, the mount needs to stay there. Simple fix. I have also ordered the clock drive for this from Sktipticskt direcrtly. It makes life more bearable in the dark. I'm sure I can get better mirrors for it if I want to but the mirrors are fine, Conical mirrors are acceptable in a 6 inch diameter scope, Scope was out of collimation when received but you need to do this reqularly anyway. Views are very nice.

Stepping up from an 80mm/600mm refractor, the difference is astronomical (heh.) First time out, I immediately saw stars that I couldn't with my old scope, and the equatorial mount makes it very easy to follow stars. I'm still new to the mount, but after a few minutes, I was able to follow with accuracy that my old scope couldn't even dream of. You won't find a better new scope for the price, I spent 2 months digging around.Edit- after several months with this scope, I DO recommend getting it over starting with a cheaper scope. I have a mild idea of what I'm doing, and what I'm looking for, and this scope surpasses my needs. Complete amateur after 40+ hours of use, all in light pollution. Start here.

Very large. I’m not quite sure how to work it. The instructions were not that clear so I will need YouTube videos.

This is my first $300 range telescope, I do not know how it really compares to other telescopes. But i am satisfied with what I can view. At this time I have only viewed the Moon. I do not have an opinion on other objects that can be viewed with this telescope.
