The horn? Yeah, and so does your hearing! The Bike Horn w Front Light by EQIIO Store came today, so this is an early review. The product box was OK - retail box-ish. The product's Instructions are on the outside of the box, so save that maybe. As it says, the horn and light combo does have just 2 buttons, or keys, each with 2 types of presses - short and long. And that brings me to my first little gripe - most of the horn sounds are very loud, there is no volume control, and, you have to long press the horn key, to change horn sounds! So, it may be best to select the horn sound before mounting this on your bike. This is best done at a good time of the day. First, put in some ear plugs, or cover the horn with a heavy blanket or pillow. Then long press the Horn button, as it cycles through the selections. What? I SAID, LONG PRESS THE HORN, AND DON'T LET GO UNTIL IT GETS TO THE LEAST PEIRCING SOUND. Then release the Horn button, and SHORT press it once or more, to hear the Horn sound chosen. I found one that isn't too bad, but you don't want to blow your loud horn if you're coming up close behind a pedestrian. The Light Button I like more, and it works the same way (without your neighbors thinking a car alarm is going off). Oh - and the Horn / Light Combo comes with a relatively short wire, so plan on where you will put the control buttons. Then attach the Horn / Light to your handlebars with the plastic zip-tie by unscrewing the nut from it, threading the zip tie through the Horn / Light Combo, around your handlebars, making sure the Light / Horn is facing forward, and re-join the zip tie and its nut, until it's tight. Mount the rubber band on the Button Control around your handlebars in a position you can reach close to one of the grips. Not sure if the lithium battery was fully charged or not, as I didn't see that mentioned on the box. Mine came at least partially charged. But before mounting it, I did plug it into my PC for 5 minutes, and the Charge Light came on a steady red, before I unplugged it, and mounted to my bike. And that's my last issue - The Horn / Light Combo and Button Control are joined by their wire, and mounted separately, so the entire unit has to come off for charging. - Unless you have a PC close to your bicycle, and a much longer USB charge cable than the 12-inch one supplied. Of course, if you're like me and do not usually ride at night and need a light, don't have young children to play w/ it, and you rarely use the horn, a charge will probably last a long time anyway.

My daughter received her first scooter for Christmas and I wanted to ensure she had a nice headlight in case we were riding and it began to become a little dark. This light is working out great. The driving light setting is like a low, med, high. Honestly, it's a little different between load and high, but it's bright in all 3 settings. There is a slow strobe, a fast strobe, a blue solid, blue strobe, red solid, and red strobe. I may have missed one other, but, honestly, I only really think we'd use the white driving light setting. I didn't check the charge after 45 mins of riding, but it was still lit as bright as when we started. NOTE: The lights are in 4 corners and I was curious if I'd get a weird square beam projection, however, it was round which is nice. Out in front of the scooter the beam was about 6 ft wide, fading off in the distance, and was very bright alluminating the ground a good 2ft - 10ft out using the mounting angle I did.For the horn, it's loud. Standing out in front of the it, it's really noticeable. It's a sold sound at first then goes into to some strobe effects with the siren. It's perfect for her is she needs to warn someone since she is not going all that fast in a small scooter. But she likes it more for annoying her mother. LOLAll in all, a good set. One thing I might change is to give another option for mounting. It uses a rubber strap that you latch onto a rung after stretching it. It was kind of loose even pulled up and in a bit of stress on the rubber strap, I had to pull it even more taught to keep it from moving around too much since the light/horn sit up so high. so, if I could change 2 things, one would be the strap, and the other would be the design, making it more of a compact lens shape with horn bell around it, then elongating it back to make it a little more aerodynamic. All in all, I still recommend this as a good option for your scooter.
