reasonably well made...black looks like lacquer paint...but they are a bit magnetic..I bought other standard style similar nuts and they were ABSOLUTELY not magnetic..but these ones WERE magnetic..some ss's can be, so not sure what's what with the quality of the "304"...but leaves me less than happy..would I buy them again..probably not..but I will add that they do look nice, hence the 3-star versus something less...count was correct... packaging was good.

These should not rust but rusted within weeks , only rained on twice.. And the pickets are Trex so not even wood that holds moisture around the bolt..
