I ordered these for woodworking, specific use I had in mind was for joining metal table legs to a live edge table. The kit has everything you need including two allen wrenches for the inserts and the screws. You will need your own drill and drill bits. I used these on an indoor table so not sure how they'd fare for exterior use but plan to try that next. Great piece of hardware for creating connections that allow you to remove a part such as legs to transport a table or other piece of furniture.

Local hardware stores each had one kind and one size. They were $20 for 8 inserts and 8 screws. Didn't notice the price till I got home and took them back. I got these for just over $20, delivered i two days. I has 2 different kinds of inserts and each kind has two different sizes. There are about 10 of each type and size, along with screws to match.Half you drive in with a hammer and half you screw into the wood. Screw-ins have an allan wrench fitting on top and you get an allan wrench for each size. The allan wrench is much better than the kind with a flat screwdriver fitting on top. They work great.

Good set. The box has the label of what's inside. These are 1/4-20. Have matched them with other inserts and they work as they should. I checked every bolt and nut in the box and they all thread perfect. Used half of the inserts so far, and they have all held up fine. T nuts are strong.

I only needed 2 fasteners but this kit had a great price and variety of sizes. I got it to have around for future use. I’ve gone into it several times. Surprising how often you use something like this when they’re around. Strong holding power and make for a clean install.

Firstly, both the insert and the tee nuts are clever inventions. These fasteners are great for when you want to deliver a very strong attachment to a wood board. The tee nuts are used if you need a higher capacity and you have access to the back side of the board. The insert is not for the highest of forces but they increase holding power in a blind application by spreading the load over a larger diameter. This kit has all you need for dozens of connections; whether for a specific project or just in case you need to repair and strengthen something. I can see these coming in handing making repairs to cheap knock down furniture or in my case, securing casters to the base of a heavy work platform.

Make sure you drill the holes the right width and depth. I had 2 inserts break without putting a whole lot of pressure on them and had to use an extractor on them. The bolts do thread into the insert very well. They worked pretty well for my epoxy table legs

Came in the USMail and the box was cracked. Inserts and bolts everywhere. But I like the product.
