I never knew that these tbings were called finials. They are simple, shiny brass and are high quality.I changed the lightbulb of a lamp my dear wife inherited from her father. I don't think it tbe lamp ever had a finial, but after being accused of losing the original, I ordered these, and saved my marriage....at least until my next screw up.

honestly, I didn't know where else to go to buy these so yeah, I paid $6 for something that should have cost me $1.00. Whatever. The fit on my lamp so I guess that's good. I wanted these because they're nothing fancy, but they keep my lamp shade in place. They do the job.
