Good tool to make sure proper depth of insert tube into push to connect such as sharkbite or efield. Good price and easy to use. The cleaning burr piece is a plus.

The depth gauge is fine, and is the primary reason I made this purchase. The Reamer is a little cheap. I was able to get it to work with some time and effort.

Shipping was fast from order to my door. I like this kit because it comes with two deburring tools. One for PEX and one for everything else. The PEX tool is also a depth gauge. When the PEX is full seated after deburring just place a sharpie marker line at the back of the gauge on the PEX. This will let you know that are fully seated if using a shark bite type fitting. Also not sure if some know this but if you are using shark bite brand PEX they label it with their name and an arrow before and after. If you cut right at one of the arrows the next one back is you fully seated mark. Just a little FYI that someone taught me. Anyway great kit at a fair price. I would buy again.

My Grandmother's outside faucet started dripping and it got to the point where she couldn't completely turn the water off so we had to replace the entire hose bib. When I went in to her crawl space she had nothing but solid copper pipes. She had a gas line about 3 feet from the water line and while I don't doubt my solder skills I didn't exactly want to use a small hand torch anywhere in that general area or really just in the crawl space. I cut the copper pipe and deburred it and marked my connection points using this kit. Then used a sharkbite fitting to connect this to a pex pipe and marked the pipe with this kit again then bought a sharkbite hosebib to connect to the pex. Would have taken me maybe 15 minutes to solder the copper pipes and connection but instead this took me 5 seconds to connect. I really like the sharkbite product and so far on any project I've used it on it's held. This tool makes it easy to know how far back on those push connections the pipe needs to go. Wish the deburring tool was a bit more sturdy but it worked in a pinch.
