I will absolutely buy this item again. I have completed the cross stitch project I bought this for, without using a hoop or frame. And the guidelines are so helpful...can be removed with a snip of the scissors. A+

I never write reviews. I had to for this product. I love cross stitch but have a terrible time counting the stitches. This makes counted cross stitch so easy. I was worried about the guide thread removal but it was so easy! I think the metallic guide threads might be a bit sharp. I noticed my floss breakage increased but small price to pay!! Will buy again.

I always wash my Aida before use (to get rid of starchy-ness, but this was extreme)!First, I did my usual (unless it's easy count aida that has rinse-out grids - I've never really tried it before due to to this issue). Rinse in warm water then wash with blue Dawn dish soap. I got rid of the excess water in a towel, then hung it to dry. The pic shown is how it froze in this crumpled fashion despite having been washed!Second try: rather than try the whole wash thing again. I ironed it on high using the iron's sprayer and steam. I got it flat...but it was back to where I started: frozen in the flat that it started at! Very stiff. I couldn't get any of my frames to attach.3. So I went a little more extreme and finally: success! I filled a (normally for dishes) plastic container on warm temp with the Dawn mixed into it until it was foaming. Added the piece of Aida and allowed it to soak for something like 45 minutes. Took it out, rinsed on cold. I allowed it to mostly dry (flat this time) then did the same with the iron I had done before. FINALLY it was soft.So yeah if you have a stiff sheet I highly recommend following my third attempt.ETA: message to the seller (off topic): any chance you do this similar gridding (with thread instead of wash away) with 18ct? I have no trouble finding 14ct but I prefer to stitch on 18 count and would absolutely buy quite a bit of it should you choose to try something smaller than 14ct or 11ct!

Im new to cross stitch and found a lot of cute patterns on Etsy. But I was so use to using stamped kits, that doing a blank one terrified me! Finding this gridded aida was a life saver! The green thread pull out great with tweezers! Fabric is thick, and strong. Easy to use! Definitely will buy again!Ps you get a good amount of cloth for the price! I'll be able to make quite a few projects with this!

Love this so much, I sent the link to my sister. Now she is using it. Guide threads pull out easy. Great for large and small projects.

This product is great. No more gridding my own fabric which takes hours to do. Will definitely prevent me from having stitch errors.

I tried to do this myself many years ago but I was unsuccessful. I am so happy to find this marked fabric. I love it. So much easier to make my Christmas Stockings

I just bought a huge pattern to cross stitch , just the idea of counting 10 squares and grinding in both directions was daunting so now with grids already on the cloth I can start in the embroidery immediately.

I ordered this gridded cloth because I am stitching a very complicated pattern. The grid works great but not dissolving. Other Easy Count cloth, the grid has washed out.
