I ordered this small piece of aluminum to use to defrost frozen food. I have an aluminum grill pan that I have used for years just for this purpose. Sometimes I want a smaller piece of aluminum for smaller pieces of food. I used it today to defrost a piece of frozen prime rib and it did a fabulous job. When the piece of aluminum arrived it had burrs and sharp corners. My husband cleaned up the sides and corners for me and now I don't have to worry about cutting my fingers. I suppose it'd be great to get pieces of aluminum for fabricating parts.

I used this as a mounting bracket. Top quality but difficult for me to cut to exact size. I should have ordered 1/8" thickness for my needs but that's my fault.

Perfect Other then the fact it was exactly a 1/4inch smaller on the long and short side of the rectangle, i needed it because i didn’t wanna spend 300 dollars for a rear transalp 750 tool mount. I scratched it up accidentally swiping away the shavings from drilling.

Good clean piece of plate, with protective coating. The dimensions are not exact, and it was a bit out of square. If that's not a concern for you, great. It was for me, and I made the mistake of not checking squareness first. I adjusted, so it turned out okay, but just be aware. I used it to make the backing plate as part of a battery enclosure/bracket. Worked well for the application.

Decent price for a pre-cut, small dimension piece of aluminum.Surface was good, edges are very, very sharp.

The product is under size. If you need 12 inches then avoid this product and order elsewhere. Also this is made in china. Looks like recycled aluminum not 6061.
