I was trying to figure out a way to hang two mobiles from a curtain rod that would be easy and safe and not require me to tie something while supporting the mobiles, all while being on a ladder. I suddenly thought of these rings. I hunted through the stuff I had on hand, but couldn’t find any. I do wish I could have bought a smaller number, but was willing to buy a small amount to get what I needed. I slipped a ring through the loops on the mobiles, climbed the ladder and closed the loops around the curtain rod in about 10 seconds for each mobile. I know they are securely hung and will not come down until I take them down. I was also able to give the extra rings to a school teacher who said she uses them all the time.

Daughter had a spiral bound book that the spiral wire started coming apart. These binder rings came in handy to make a new binding for the book.

These are cheap and you get what you pay for. More than half of the rings don't close properly so that the ring is not smooth and pages catch on the closure.**UPDATE** - the above is true - that they didn't close - however, the company reached out to me and offered a refund, which was quite nice (I would have returned the rings, but I didn't use any until after the return window had closed). For that, I upgraded the stars to 5, as that's darn good customer service.

Pros: Great tight snap rings. So tight that I almost couldn't open them with my arthritic hands. OUTER diameter is nearly 1.5 inches. Plating looks good.Cons: Plastic inventory bag cut open before shipping, why, I don't know as bag is clear and items could have had a check count THROUGH the baggie.

These notebook rings open and close easily. Using on an inch thick printed out study book. Can use for keys too. Has a good hinge, not flimsy.

These rings were just what I needed for my custom photo binder. The ones I had before were getting too small as my collection grows. I tried looking for some in stores but no luck in finding them. I put them in easily with no issues and that satisfying click means it’s sturdy and won’t come undone. Amazon always has what I need! Great product and great price for what I needed. Thank you!!

I saw one reviewer note that it was hard to open the rings; I had the exact opposite with my pack. Of the 20 rings, 6 were tight (not difficult tight but just-right), the hinge on the others were so loose that once unhooked, they just swung open. Since I use mine to hold my dies (circle dies, etc.) and stencils, every time I opened one, the hinge would drop and everything would drop to the desk (floor if I forget to hold it over my desk). For paper with 3 holes, this wouldn't be an issue as the other two rings would keep the papers from all falling. I ended up buying a different set of rings that are much tighter and useful for my use. But, at this price point and if you're more patient, this is a decent product!
