As said in other reviews, I will be replacing the leather strap with something more sturdy (one it breaks,) but until then, it’s fine. I purchased this to “call the kids in for dinner†and it works!!! This has that really great chuck wagon clang you’d expect to hear, and the sound carries! I’m sure the neighbors in the next town know when we’re serving up chow, but as long as my kids can hear it over the noise of their ride in toys, way out on our property, that’s all I care about. Definitely 5 stars. I took a start off on sturdiness for the leather strapping, but TBH, I’d rather have it be leather and more authentic, and have to replace it periodically, than to have some junk metal ring that sends vibrations up my arm when I let it rip.

My granddaughter LOVES "Little House on the Prairie" so with a family of 10, this seemed like a great gift idea. Looked at a lot of them and many of the cheaper ones were smaller and did not have a good sound. This is big and loud and robust!! An authentic triangle. If you are looking for the real thing - this is it!

I live on a cul-de-sac where all the kids free-roam back and forth. I LOVE to walk out to my front porch, grab the ringer, and wail away on the triangle. My wife rolls her eyes...but man does my kid come running. I have the biggest stupid grin on my face.Its got great volume - can easily be heard at least 500-800 feet away.As others have mentioned, the pain does seem to chip in my ringer...haven't really looked at the triangle. It honestly does not matter though. That thing will still work...go buy some rustoleum if it bothers you.

good quality, nice sound. I went a little too big for my house I think, measure before you order... but looks great. Paint is chipping a little out of the box, so I only gave 4, but really great item

We redid an old barn and have had many fund raisers for non profits. With this chow bell, we have been able to round up the strays who are roaming about the property.
