Powerful magnet. Only use the thinner one on nonmetal surfaces. Otherwise, they are very difficult to separate!

I am using these with quarter inch wall anchors on my pegboard. They are wonderful for holding tools and bits that don't play well with pegboard pegs. Unfortunately the black paint chips off with use. Maybe I should have got the silver ones instead...

These magnets are extremely strong! I used a piece of cardboard to place between the washer and the magnet. DO NOT place a magnet on a magnet! They are difficult to separate. If you happen to put two magnets together use the edge of a board, table, or some type of heavy duty edge to slide them apart.
