This power inverter does its basic job effectively for lower-power devices. The dual USB ports charge phones and tablets at a good speed, and the AC outlet handles laptops and similar devices without issue. The 150W rating is accurate - don't expect it to power anything more demanding.The cigarette lighter plug fits securely without coming loose on bumpy roads. The built-in fan is relatively quiet and only kicks in when needed. The safety features work as they should - it'll shut off if you try to draw too much power or if it starts getting too hot.Important practical notes: The 150W limit is real - it'll handle a laptop or small electronics fine, but won't work for hair dryers, coffee makers, or other high-draw devices. Check your device's power requirements before use. Also, keep in mind this draws power even when nothing's plugged in, so unplug it from the car when not in use to avoid draining your battery.One minor gripe: the power indicator light is quite bright, which can be distracting for night driving. The adapter works perfectly and for the price point it is a solid option for 110 charging needs. I chagre my laptop daily in the field with it as well as my cellular phone several times. it doent get hot per say and the indicator light on the front lets you know when its ready for charging devices. Once the product detects a fault by itself, the inverter will automatically turn off the current output and light up a red light to remind the user, avoiding the trouble of replacing the fuse. Solid purchase for the price.

It does make a bit of noise. Completely stopped working on one 40 minute drive. Was okay the following day. Heats quickly, not sure how much air the fan is moving. Found that if I drive the car a couple minutes before attempting to use, it functions better.

I travel in my car a lot and I use an electric lunchbox while I am on the road. The lunch box comes with a wall plug and car plug so I keep this in my car to make sure I have a heat source. I can recommend this item without reservation.

It worked fantastically! I bought this because I had to attend a funeral about 4 hours away and would not be taking my 3 month old exclusively breast fed baby. I needed a convenient way to pump on the go as the day would be very busy with travel and did not want to have to leave /miss services in order to pump so I wanted to be able to conveniently pull over into a parking lot, get a coffee and pump in peace/privacy in the SUV (we have tinted windows so its still fairly private). It worked great! worked fantastic for the breast pump and did the job. HOWEVER - I thought i'd be able to plug in a hair straighter and my espresso machine and maybe i'm just dumb about power related items but yes it did blow the fuse in my car, however the built in power surge protector worked and protected my expensive hair straightener from damage. After replacing the blown fuse it worked great. Just don't plug in anything that draws a lot of power like don't try to use a hair dryer or straighter or coffee maker like the dodo that I am. but its fine for smaller items like charging phones/laptops etc.

Worked in a 6500km uhaul trip to charge phones and plug in a radio. -1 star because it gets quite hot and starts humming after a while of being on.

Great product to simplify camping life! Allows you to plug in anything in the car. Charging is pretty quick too, no need to wait 3 hours.
