1.Unscrew big blue heavy duty housings with a water filter wrench
2.Take out the old 151122 O-ring， pull the replacement O-ring slightly by hand to make a better seal.
3.Then put the replacement o-ring back in its original position
4.Finally hold up the big blue heavy duty housings in place

Yes fits the Pentek/Pentair "big blue" 20"x4.5" filter housing (and also the 10"x4.5") . You may not need a new o-ring when you open and change the filter, but if you do need an o-ring, you REALLY REALLY NEED AN O-RING. Know your manufacturer of filter housing since there are different brand housings that fit the same standard filter, but have different size o-rings.I hope this is "Helpful". Cheers ! !
