This 15.6-inch portable car TV headrest monitor offers a large full HD display (1920 x 1080 resolution) with vibrant visuals, making it a great entertainment solution for backseat passengers. Running on Android OS, it allows users to install apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu, giving it a significant advantage over traditional DVD-based systems. Multiple connectivity options, including WiFi, Bluetooth, SD, USB, and HDMI, provide flexibility for streaming, offline media playback, and even gaming console connections. Screen mirroring via AirPlay and Miracast further enhances convenience, allowing users to project content from their phones. However, its performance is limited by 2GB RAM, which may cause slowdowns with multitasking or demanding apps, making it more suitable for casual streaming rather than intensive use.One major drawback is its dependence on in-car WiFi for streaming, meaning users must rely on a mobile hotspot or pre-downloaded content on a USB or SD card. The installation process can also be tricky, requiring a wired power connection, which may not be convenient for all users. While the touchscreen interface is responsive, the built-in speakers are underwhelming, making Bluetooth or wired headphones a better audio option. Additionally, while 32GB of storage is adequate for apps and basic downloads, it may fill up quickly with high-resolution media. Software updates could also be an issue, as Android-based headrest monitors may not receive long-term support, potentially leading to app compatibility issues over time. Despite these limitations, this monitor is an excellent choice for families, rideshare drivers, and travelers seeking a portable entertainment solution. It provides value for money with its large screen, versatile app support, and multiple input options, making long journeys more enjoyable. However, potential buyers should consider performance constraints, audio limitations, and installation complexity before purchasing. If you primarily need a reliable, Android-based multimedia hub for casual entertainment, this product is a solid investment, but those looking for faster performance, better speakers, or long-term software support might want to explore higher-end alternatives.

It's a large monitor that yields a stellar image for movies on the go.It has connectivity up the wazoo, so the options include vehicle, laptop, desktop, TV...you name it.I wanted it primarily for a dual monitor for my wife's laptop and being able to play movies at home. The bracket for the vehicle works well, and is easy to install. I wish it came with some sort of case however. The idea of the monitor always being exposed does not thrill me. Something soft to cover it up when not in use would be nice and why I don't give it 5 stars. You can play through your phone....mirror your phone...run on wifi, or just plug in a game via memory and away you go.The vehicle options are to directly plug it into your electronics with the included harness, or to simply run it through a cigarette lighter adapter. One is long term, the other is short term.It also comes with an A/C plug for inside use. While they definitely seem to concentrate on vehicular usage, it would have been nice to include a robust stand up bracket for in home use.All in all this is a well thought out monitor with a very good picture. You get all the connectivity you could ask for, plus numerous ways to power it.Recommended.

This headrest monitor is really good. The screen is very large and the layout is beautiful. It has different settings for the layouts and it has a ton of features you do have to use hotspot so it uses your phone for the internet. It's almost like a computer for the has a lot of different apps and features like Facebook YouTube you can go online or you can set it up in the car for when the kids get in it just for the features for them. The only issue I really notice is the sound quality isn't that great it only has one speaker and it doesn't go very loud but I'm pretty sure you can hook it up to some headphones but overall I'm super happy with the monitor.

This was an absolute lifesaver for a recent road trip! The screen itself is quite large, so I made a frame to hold the monitor in the center, allowing both kids to see it. It made the trip so much nicer—they stayed occupied for the entire six hours. We brought a Switch with us, so they had more to do than just watch movies. The monitor is basically an Android tablet with plenty of options for use. We haven’t used it much with our phones since we use Starlink for internet access, which turns it into a smart TV. However, we did load a bunch of movies onto a USB drive beforehand to keep data usage down, and the movies have played perfectly from the USB. You can use a micro SD card with it, but I just have plenty of USB drives lying around. Anytime we’re going to be in the car for more than an hour, we take this thing with us. My only complaint is the price—there are cheaper options that can achieve the same goal. That said, the quality and capabilities of this screen are excellent, and we love it!
