This device is great for chopping various vegetables sec. My only complaint is you must put the bowl back on just so or it will not work. I seem to struggle with this and my previous one was not this difficult.

The first time I used this chopper, it handled the chopping of almonds into small chunks very well. The second time I used it was for chopping chocolate, and it completely failed. After that, it would also not chop almonds. I had to pull out my full-size food processor to handle a cup of almonds. I wonder it if's a design flaw, as the blades seem to rest very high compared to the bottom of the cup, and I suspect chunks get caught underneath. But regardless, my ancient proctor silex mini chopper had no such issues, and I miss it now. Unfortunately. between the first use and the second, the return window lapsed so I will ecycle it and hope my next choice produces a better result.

I love the fact that 1: it holds a chicken breast and chops it up for chicken salad. 2: you just twist the plastic lid and the machine turns on. 3: the 3 pieces go right into the dishwasher 4: the motor is nice and strong. 5: it is smaller enough to fit on a cabinet shelf with plenty of room left over.My only wish is that it were quieter.

This unit is exactly as specified but a bit smaller than I thought it would be. It is fitted with a safety feature which prevents the unit switching on unless the pot and its lid are on correctly and exactly in the right place. This caused me some concern on one occasion when I hadn't got it exactly right and it would not start up. Otherwise excellent little unit.
