I recently ordered the Hiwafifi 15oz Stainless Steel Sugar Bowl, but I actually use it for kosher salt. For years, I've kept my salt in a glass jar with a hinged airtight lid and leak-proof rubber gasket next to my stove. Unfortunately, the metal on my glass jar had started to rust, so I needed a change. What could be more rust-proof than stainless steel?I filled my new container with salt, and it works beautifully. The best part is the accompanying spoon, which allows me to better control the amount of salt I cook with instead of just reaching in and grabbing "a pinch." This thoughtful design detail makes cooking more precise, healthier and enjoyable.
