Using Steps
1. Turn the fan on and set the speed control setting to a speed at which the wobble is the greatest.
2. Turn off the fan and allow it to come to a complete stop select one blade and place the balance clip on it. Halfway between the blade holder and blade tip on the trailing edge of the blade.
3. Turn the fan on Note whether the wobble has increased or decreased. Turn the fan off ,move the clip to another blade, and retest. Repeat this procedure on all blades noting the blade on which the greatest improvement is achieved.
4. Move the clip back to the blade that showed the greatest improvement. Move the clip inward and outward on this blade and operate the fan to find the position where the clip gives the improvement.
5. Remove the clip and install a balancing weight to the top of blade along the centerline near the point where the clip was positioned.
6. If the fan wobble problem has not been corrected you may wish to try to improve the balancing further by using the balancing clip and additional weights.

4 balance clips and 12 weights are provided, enough for daily use and to meet the need for replacement.

Other balancing kits were too narrow to fit my fan blades, but this one worked perfectly.

The clips fly off the fan blade when you are finding the location for the weight to stick. Had to use masking tape to hold them in place temporarily.

I tried to fix my wobbling ceiling fan with this kit but the wobble was too much. I could see it working if the problem is balance but in my situation the problem was the fan just wasnt screwed in tight enough, i think it just loosened itself over time.

Had a fan badly out of balance. The instructions were easy and as this is every bit a "trial and error" effort, it was pleasing to read just that in the instructions.The plastic strips stayed put on the blades even at high speed and once I achieved balancing with them, the peel-and-stick weights went on simply and seemed to exactly match the weight of the clips.Except for the time spent waiting for the fan blades to slow down after each trial run, this was a simple and quick fix to 7.5gm out-of-balance blade.

Having hung and balancing more ceiling fans then I can count over last 50 yrs about all these kits are the same . This one offered plenty of weights and 4 sliding test weights. And they are needed measuring a blade tip from ceiling looking for a sagging blade is not the best way and makes little difference. And often time you hit one blade that makes huge difference. But after you find it you still need to ck. others to completely balance the fan and this kit allows you the stuff to do that.

Worked great. Hardly any fan wobble any more. It's a little tricky getting the weights distributed just right but with patience I got it right.
