I like to transfer my freshly shaken paint into plastic quart and gallon bottles and the spout on this funnel fits the openings on standard milk and water bottles to a T. Transfering my paint had always been a 2-man operation until I purchased this huge funnel.

It's comically oversized. But it works GREAT for transferring chemicals from a five gallon container into a one gallon container. Perfect for this, no drips. It has enough weight and heft that it's not moving around while your pour liquids. When pouring liquids, the funnel would empty as fast as you can pour, it never filled up. This seems like a specialty sized funnel, not in stores, I am happy for finding it. Will buy a few extras.

First let me say I bought this funnel for a specific non typical project. It's of decent quality and construction, but it's not 10" and that was critical to my project. The funnel I received was 9 3/8" and while you might be thinking what's the difference, like I said I had a particular project for this funnel and I needed 10"+ for a perfect fit, 9 3/8" is really too small for my specific project, but it's a nice funnel otherwise.It came only packaged in a clear plastic bag and Amazon didn't really ship it in a good sized box, the box was budging from the funnel.I saw some other people ask the for the dimensions in the questions section and let me clarify the exact overall dimensions of this funnel. The top opening is approx 9 3/8" ID, 9 5/8" OD outside lip. I say approximate because it's still a little deformed from being squashed in the Amazon box, but it's pretty close back to round. The height is 9 5/8" from top to bottom and the spout ID is 7/8", OD is 1 1/16".If your looking for a large funnel, this one is pretty well built and priced reasonably enough, just don't expect it to be exactly 10" like I did.I can't say if it's food safe or not, it does have on the label the California warning that it does have chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects, but I've also seen that warning on food grade products before too, so who knows for sure. I'm surprised California hasn't put a warning sticker on the Sun yet. ;)One star off for not being at least 10".

As an aquarium keeper, I store RO-treated and conditioned tap water in the five-gallon water jugs used on many office water "machines." I used smaller funnels for years, sometimes overflowing through impatience. The three things about a funnel that are important are1) Diameter and depth of the top2) Diameter of the bottom3) Height from top to bottom for balancingMost of the funnels I found online failed to provide one, two, or all three of these parameters. When the pandemic hit, my Pet Dealer didn't want to touch my water jugs and tried to dump water from buckets into a too tall, too small funnel. I bought two of these: one for him and one for myself. I am delighted with mine; the bottom fits the jugs perfectly without waffling around when in use, and the top allows for rapid filling. My dealer loves his as well!

Bought this one as a replacement for the one that committed hara-kiri under my vehicle one day. >|-( These funnels are very durable, except when run-over. The immense size necessary for refueling snow-throwers, generators and the like.

Finally found this extra size funnel on Amazon (XL funnels are impossible to find in local stores). Price is great-bought two. One for work for transferring purified water and one for filling smaller bird seed storage container from those 20 lb store bags.

Funnel is 100% exactly as described. Made very well and will last for years to come. Even though being on the extremely expensive side where else can you get a funnel this big. (Nowhere) I have looked... it is actually selling for $6.50 usd in the states so to save a few bucks you may want to have a friend purchase it in the states and bring it when they visit or send it to you. May save $10-$12 by going that route....
