They are not made of rubber. They felt like they would be slick and slide around if you stepped on them. I was 110% incorrect on that thought. Even though they are very light weight, they do not slide when you step on them at all. I was using a traditional shower mat that had a bunch of nooks and crannies around dozens of little suction cups that were a pain in the can to clean that had a constant mildew issue. These are perfect for the shower as the nubs on the back of the mats are tall enough to allow great drainage and air flow to where our shower floor should finally dry out. They lock together really snuggly which is great because the whole thing should stay together when you take it out to clean the bottom of it. Thin enough to cut to size if necessary too. Great product!

We bought this to line the floor of an outdoor laundry hut which was concrete. It was easy to snap together and cut to the size we needed.It’s a little flimsy but has surprisingly held up great in the few months we’ve had it.It makes the laundry area look clean and not so boring.

The mats too thin to create any type of a barrier between the flooring and where you step, so what’s the use? I chalked this up to me not reading the description carefully enough (lesson learned), however, the worst part is that they WILL NOT stay together. They come undone immediately if you put any pressure on them by stepping on them, rendering them useless. Unfortunately, since I missed the return window, I had to just throw them out. For me, they were a complete waste of time and money.

I have a shed that gets very damp. These handy squares form a nice raised mat for my storage bins. This is a great solution to a problem I have been trying to solve for years.
