I put 4 of these on a small waterproof box ( ASIN B0B2RH6Y9G ) for my Meshtastic vehicle node. Tossed it on the back of the car and it hasn't come off yet, even at the usual freeway speeds in California which might be in excess of the posted speed limit.If you need some magnets to keep something temporarily attached to a vehicle, these magnets really seem to do an excellent job of it and you won't be disappointed. I'd still clean off the car a little bit before attaching it, because dirt under anything can cause scratches, but the magnets themselves won't be doing the scratching.

Very well built and stick like glue. Can’t imagine what the 60lb magnets would be like as these have to be slid off the surface. I did make some mounts with here and can pull off my truck, but don’t worry about them coming off on their own.

I use this product on my 19 Road King. I pill the rubber bump stop out and replace it with one of these magnets. It holds tbe kickstand up even when you loose the spring.

I wanted to put Christmas lights on my 1965 C10 truck. These were perfect! They stick so well they are hard to get off the truck! Super impressed and I'm excited to use them for other things. I think they could hold a tarp on a truck bed if you had enough of them.
