Wow, I was sweating this one!The hex part of the spark plug snapped right off when my nephew tried to remove it itSomeone really tightened that baby in there!!. I only had a small 1/4" left to grab that was all rounded over.I tapped the appropriate extractor socket on with a hammer and used my 1/4" drive impact tool on a very low setting to gradually back the rest of the plug out.The socket still looked brand new after it did its job - YEAH!!

I don't know why this is described as "Spark Plug Removal Extraction Socket Tool". This is for bolt extraction of damaged bolts. Simple to use - tap in place, use a tool to turn it and remove it. I have other bolt extraction sets, but none were deep. It's the same principle that you run into with regular sockets, the shallow will work most of the time, but there's going to be that time when you least expect it that you need a deep socket. Now I have the covered. The plastic case is really nice, especially the latch. It's a sturdy one. The sockets are all high quality, finished well. Really happy to have added this.

This item works perfectly. The material is strong and sturdy. I used it to remove some fused spark plugs. It worked like a charm.

I tried to remove manifold studs, they did not meet up to the expectations I had in the product. I am totally dissatisfied with the product.
