I was looking for activity’s for my family & friends to do while we went to Easter dinner at our work .This bowling set was perfect . They come In a plastic zipper bag which is great for when your not using . They come ready to set up and play !You get 6 LARGE pins & 2 balls ( bold red & blue in color ) . The plastic is thick and durable but also not heavy . We used them in a paved parking lot and they had no damage or dents after children and adults played with them for hours .I would suggest this to anybody who is looking for a fun activity or game for any age , indoor or out .Would be great for a cook out , birthday party , while camping , a class room or even just a night of family fun .

Bowling sets have a great appeal for kids. What's not to like about knocking something down with a ball?However, most sets are small and lightweight, therefore, the pins easily fall over with any air movement around them.This set is designed differently. When the (large) Amazon box arrived, I couldn't imagine what I'd ordered that size. Turns out this set alone took up the entire box. There are 9 pieces in it: (6) 17"!!! bowling pins, (2) 7 3/4" balls (sized appropriately for the pins) & a case to store it all in (an excellent addition!) The pins are are a heavier weight than the pins from years past, although keep in mind they still are made of plastic with the interior being air. I placed a couple on our deck (weather is cool with a breeze) and neither fell over. This would be an excellent game to play on a deck where the surface is flat.The storage case is make of thin material you see in lower-cost reusable bags; both the front & back sides are clear plastic; the zipper is a small-weight one. It's HANDY but I'm unsure how long it will last.Four of the six pins had areas on them that were indented upon arrival. I pushed on the indentations and for the most part, those disappeared. I'm not sure it will matter when the kids are playing with them butthere definitely was a problem even though the set arrived in an undamaged box.I scored this set as 4-stars due to the indentations in the pins and what I'm guessing will be ultimate issues with the storage bag.

Everyone loves bowling. Simple easy sport. The hardest part about home bowling is setting up the pins. This set is different in the sense that the pins are large, closer to real size which makes them easier to hand for small hands. The pins are not weighted. We set this up for game night with the grandkids in the hallway on the wood floor. The pins stood up well, not toppling. The kids were able to roll the ball down the hall and see the pins scatter. Six pins are plenty for kids. Setting up 10 pins is too tedious for kids. The balls are cool with finger holes to give a real bowler grip. Want to mention there was no damage to the hallway walls or flooring from bowling. We tried them on a low pile area carpet and the pins stood firmly. I just know from my past these kinds of pins would not stand up well on shag or uneven pile carpeting. I am sure these would work well outside on the pavement, only thing is the pins will scatter more causing more chasing around to get them. Of course, that’s why the kids are playing with this, they have lots of energy. Set comes in a convenient zippered storage bag. This is fun game set for family fun. I am extremely pleased.

My kids had never been bowling before and my daughter was getting ready to go to a birthday party at a bowling alley.. so I got this because I thought it would be fun to play with and for her to have a little practice so she would know what she was doing….. it was actually way more fun than I thought it would be. I had a lot of fun playing with it too. We actually ended up having a bowling night as a family in the kitchen. It was hilarious in the best way and it was a great way to have some family time together with lots of laughs and great memories.

We set these up at the end of our hallway, closed all the doors and pretended it was a bowling alley. The kids loved it and grown ups can play too, just missing an automatic pin reset, but that's what my 7 & 4 yr old grandkids are for, lol. The pins and balls are a great size, and balls roll perfect, the pins sir level. Others we've had were too light and would fall over just trying to set them up. Even though they have a more solid feel and weight to them, they are not at all heavy. They come in a clear zip up heavier weight plastic bag that you can store them in to bot lose any. They look like normal real pins. The kids really like them and I agree this is a 5 star set, I'm glad I tried them. It says giant but they aren't huge, they are just way better than the normal cheap plastic kids sets. I do highly recommend this, it would also make a great party game or gift!
