Here are the steps to use the Laser Bore Sight End Barrel:
1.Twist the back cap off the bore sight in a counterclockwise direction.
2.Place the bore sight on a flat surface with the laser side facing downward.
Insert batteries with the positive side up into the rear opening.
4.Gently press down and twist the screw cap clockwise to secure it (the laser is now on).
5.Place it from the caliber (without silencer)
6.To remove - open the bolt if it does not automatically extract, manually remove the unit by tilting the rifle’s barrel upward (always practicing safe firearm practices)
7.Unscrew the back and remove the batteries to turn the unit off

I bought this to site in a new optic on my varment rifle. It worked great. It's a great value for the price. I would definitely buy it again.

Only useful at close range. 25 yards or farther out there is to much wiggle room to be accurate.

I have a PPK in .22 that I have always struggled with. I thought it was just that the gun wasn’t a good fit for me, but this laser made me realize sure enough the factory sights shipped way off. I’m a little embarrassed by how many rounds I’ve put through it before I came to that realization. This laser was also great for sighting in a red dot I put on my mark IV. I still had some minor adjustments to make but it definitely saved a lot of trouble.The laser comes with a ton of extra batteries and extra o rings. With how little you need to have it on the amount of extra batteries will last you years. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who shoots .22

This bore site does do what it is supposed to do. Get you within a click or two of center of bullseye. I have several bore sites in this exact price range and they all came in nice little plastic boxes that you can keep nicely with your firearm. But not this one. It all comes in a plastic package loosely packed. Also doesn’t have the array of o-rings that others do at this price point. I was going to give it 4 stars but the packaging/presentation is so sloppy that I dropped it to 3 stars
