Had to replace my clothesline and this worked like a charm!I love that during the summer, I can hang my clothing outside to dry and save electricity! This is great cording for numerous uses—the price is quite reasonable, as well! This is a large spool of cord, which will last a long time.

Comes in very handy for lots of things. Because there is so much on the spool, should last a long time for various projects, tarps, etc..

I got 1000 ft 1/8 inch at 3 cents per foot. That is significantly better than other rope deals I could find. For my use, the lack of stretch was helpful. Notice the word "nylon" in the product specs is part of a misleading company name, and does not mean there is any nylon content. My use required cutting into short pieces and tying in a variety of knots. I have one of these for cutting: cuts this rope well without fraying problems. I expect it would fray with normal cutting, but I haven't tried.Poorly tied knots (that would hold anyway with nylon or with natural fiber rope) will slip with this rope. Bad knots seem to slip even more with this rope than with cheap polypropylene rope (which is more often the worst rope type for badly tied knots). If you tie your knots correctly, there is no problem with this rope. But the haphazard knots most people tie are likely to slip.

A lot of small diameter rope for a good price, I still haven't used it all. Be sure to seal the ends after cutting with a flame or reliable heat source. Will keep the buyers updated with this review, but no 5 stars because the review isn't finished.

This stuff is great for marking property boundaries and holding up garden plants, etc. It's just the right size to be not too heavy, yet strong enough to stand up to abuse. Being polyester, it doesn't tend to abrade or catch on things, and it should be able to resist UV for many years without failing--though that I won't be able to confirm for many years. :) Note that if you cut it, you should take a lighter and put the edge in the flame to seal it--otherwise the end will fray. Also, this stuff is slippery, so it's slightly more difficult to tie knots in than even nylon, but that makes it more durable too.

Great price for the performance. I have purchased many dyneema and kevlar products over the years and have always been disappointed by the actual break strength vs the advertised break strength. Usually less than a 1:5 ratio. I am 240 pounds and this rope didn't break when I put a loop on one end close to the ground and tied the other end on my kids monkey bars and proceeded to put most of my weight on the loop. I held my position for 30 seconds and the rope didn't break. Obviously, I would never count on this rope to hold me or my kids, it is not certified for that, but it is excellent cord for non critical applications.

Ok, my grandkids ages 8 & 10 were coming to visit Michigan for the first time. I had a sneaking suspicion that they were going to do their best to try and wear out the water in Lake Huron, which is 700 feet from my front door. Meanwhile, their mother (my daughter) had already informed me that she planned on spending hours on Mother Nature's tanning bed - about 4 miles of clean, white sand. SO ... I purchased 3 water rafts for their use. In an amazing happening, a few brain cells collided and I realized that a wind gust could/would blow an unused raft to parts unknown. A slight breeze from the West or Southwest, could easily have my family members land in Canada, anywhere from 50 to 110 miles away.I HAD to come up with a way to lash the rafts to the beach. I found this line, with a 350 lb working load, at a good price. The rafts I purchased had large "ventilation" holes built in. I needed a way to cushion the line where it went through to vent holes, to keep the line from cutting into the plastic. A quick trip to the local dollar store and I had my Pool Noodles. I cut the noodles to about 20 inches, threaded the line through the center and looped the noodles and line through the vent hole in each raft. I cut the line into 3 equal 150-foot lengths and tied the ends off to a stake driven in the sand. 6 days later, the family was on their way back to Montana and I still had all 3 rafts ... AND roughly 550 feet of unused line, still on the spool, for future use.

This is the second time I purchased. I use it to bundle paper, small tree branches. The 1/8 " is just thick enough to be used for many purposes and it is strong enough to tie things tightly. The price is excellent.
