Lightweight, easy to handle, takes knots readily, very flexible. Very low visual impact out in the trees. I'm using this rope to hold up a 548 ft octagonal horizontal loop antenna for amateur radio. Wish it was available in larger spools. I think it's available in 1,000 ft spools directly from the manufacturer.Polyester is one of the longest lasting synthetic ropes out in the sun and weather.

I was planning to hang a 80 m dipole between 2 oak trees at my new home. I purchased this rope after investigating numerous possibilities. I am amazed at how well this rope holds up. To install, I did the old fishing lure tied to fish line and used a slingshot to send it up in the trees followed by mason line and then this rope. I always leave slack in the antenna so it doesn't snap. The line is hard and has a slippery feel to it which is great so there is minimal chafing against tree bark. It is very easy to knot. I added some superglue to the knot where each end of the antenna was attached and wrapped it with electrical tape. We had a nasty wind storm and I watched the dipole bob up and down. Stood up to the wind. Great product.

While this is an excellent rope be aware that it may not be a single 500-foot piece. Mine turned out to be two different pieces simply running out in the middle of an antenna project even though there was 250 feet left on the roll. I had to reshoot a line back into a 100-foot tree and reattach the second piece. I emailed the vendor who responded right away and they said this is normal for some rolls. It was allowed from a cordage industry standard they follow. They issued a 50 percent refund for the hassle. Kudos to the company for being so responsive. I would order from them again.

Used the Dacron for ice cords on Hexbeam, they sell Kevlar core on there website and much better for support cords. Hoping they list on Amazon as the website did not have a shipping to Canada option.Great price and great product.
