This is an expensive product. However, the quality is excellent and the box is shipped quickly. One suggestion. Maybe figure out how to reinforce the corners of the carton. The shippers like to drop it on the corners which then splits and damages a few of the shingles.

The Miller Shingle is an excellent shingle of high grade cedar. I found it to be more than expected. I was able to do my porch addition to the rear of the house which I later painted to match existing shingles. The picture shows in the foreground exterior facing shingles and under the porch in the background is visible the other wall covered to match. The shingles were easy to work with and were very uniform given the rebutted and rejointed preparation. This was my first experience working with shingle siding and I really enjoyed it. These are actually red cedar, but look almost white out of the box. Note the bottom run on the outside shows up as more red. This is because I ran the starter course underneath and the first course late one day and had rain that prevented work for a few days after. The water and time caused the color to reveal different as shown in the picture, which I found interesting.

Used these shingles for the 2nd floor exterior of my garage. Home is 100 yrs old in a bayside community. Love the look of the red cedar and I’m confident these beauties will still be in place and looking good in 50 years from now!Quick delivery and packaged very nicely!

I thought I was buying primed R&Rs, but they weren't R&R. Be careful what you click on.

The quality was good (few knots) but was they were not sanded as advertised. We paid a premium price for them so we not happy about that. We found local sources for the rest of the shingles we needed (and we needed a lot more!)
