Recently, I purchased a pack of 18 small, handheld calculators and I've been pleasantly surprised by their overall value. These calculators come in a variety of six different colors, adding a touch of personality to an otherwise mundane tool. The real selling point for me, however, was the dual power source – they operate on both solar and battery power. This means I can use them reliably in almost any lighting condition. The battery compartment is admittedly a bit tricky to open. It requires a thin object like a very thin screwdriver to pop it open, which can be a minor inconvenience - but it's no big deal. However, I appreciate that the battery option is there for those times when solar power might not be sufficient. The calculators are constructed from a lightweight, inexpensive plastic. While some might view this as a drawback, I actually prefer it. The plastic build makes the calculators incredibly portable. I'm more likely to toss one in my bag or pocket without worrying about it getting damaged. In terms of functionality, these calculators keep it simple. They have the essential memory functions (M-, M+, MRC) along with the standard addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations. For everyday calculations, this is more than enough. I don't need a scientific calculator with a bunch of features I'll never use. This would be a great purchase for a teacher or mom/dad trying to teach their kids basic skills with a calculator.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this pack of handheld calculators. They're functional, reliable, and incredibly affordable. The dual power source, variety of colors, and lightweight build make them a practical and convenient tool for everyday use. The minor inconvenience of the battery compartment is easily overshadowed by the calculators' overall value. In my honest opinion, these calculators are a great bargain and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a basic, no-frills calculator.

Students love the bright colors of these calculators, and I appreciate how durable they are. They have been dropped on multiple occasions and have held up well. We use them to check our work, and they definitely make math class more fun.

These little basic calculators are fully functional. They come in a good variety of colors. The keys aren't quite as sensitive as I'm used to, but if you're a kid using these then you'll probably be pressing plenty hard on the buttons anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem. These worked right out of the box, as they have little solar "panels" on them. There is an option to add a AA battery in the back in case you're somewhere the solar won't work, but it seems like these work in all but the darkest locations, and you probably wouldn't be doing math in a really dark room anyway (it would be hard to see the screen at that point), so that probably isn't even necessary.Overall, I'd say these are decent basic calculators. They work fine and won't run out of batteries since they're solar-powered.

18 of them! These are your basic, last forever, non-scientific calculators. Great for kids or for your desk drawer when you don’t want to go searching through all your phone apps for the calculator and you just want to add something because you're too tired at the end of the day... you get the point. They're colorful, pocket-sized, and the kids in my classroom love them.

I love the bright colors of these calculators! They all worked out of the box, which can be rare with bulk calculators. The buttons are just plastic, not rubber, so they do feel a little cheap (they just feel really loose), but so far, they work fine.I appreciate that these can operate on solar power or battery, but I did find it was rather difficult to get the battery compartment open.

I ordered these calculators to be used to send to children all over the world through the Operation Christmas Child ministry. Our church packs upwards of 2000 shoebox gifts annually, so I’m always looking for bulk type products and these solar calculators fit the bill! These calculators are a perfect choice to pack because they are solar powered and can be easily packed in box corners, nooks, and crannies. Excellent quality and product – five stars!!

These all seem to work as intended. They are solar, or you can insert a battery. Solar seems to work fine. They are really lightweight and do not feel of very durable quality. The colors are bold, and the basic calculator functions are fine for gradeschool math. But I don't expect them to last too long.
