When my 65 inch flat screen died I didn't have the funds to replace it. That's where this life saver came in. I'm very impressed. This thing works as advertised. I put my Alexa echo on it an boom ,6 inch screen to 20 inches. It does emit an hd image. Best used in total darkness because even though the screen is great it will pickup any light in the room and make god rays around the image. That said I use mine with the lights on an it doesn't bother me. The screen slides out of the case easily and stores just as easily. The case seems a little flimsy but works fine as a stand for screen and phone. Since mine is on my computer desk and I sit only 2 or 3 feet from the screen o don't feel the need to replace the TV this works great.

It does kind of do what it is intended to do, but it is a Fresnel Lens that is not completely clear. For good replication of video. Mainly used for lighting diffusionLike in a lighthouseOK, value for the money though..

I've seen bigger version of this, and the magnification isn't as clear as with a 12" screen. Really handy! This magnifier works really well and is fast to set up. Fragile design, though - so if you buy this model - be careful. It's not exactly sturdy.

I've bought a few other smartphone screen enlargers and this large 16" one is the very best. Slowly pull the screen out by the attached round tab so as not to get your fingerprints on the viewing screen. When you finish using it put it away touching the tab again. There is a long STURDY Back holder for your smartphone to rest on. It's so much more secure for your phone than the other cheaply made brands. I will donate my other inferior screen enlargers to the charity stores.

I was expecting the magnifier to fill the screen which is why I bought 18". The workmanship was solid and it probably would have lasted a long time...very easy to use. But the purpose was to magnify the phone to full size of the screen and I didn't get that experience. I returned it.

The magnified screen on this Portable Monitor is meant to look 3D I think, however the many zigzag lines and "rounded edge" appearance create an almost blurry image making it difficult to watch my mobile phone. One of the mini fold out legs is already broken too. I bought this as I really wanted the bigger screen. Not really happy with the purchase at all. It was considerably more expensive than the smaller screens.

It has a curve view which is great if you are just watching shows but not great for playing games or to magnify a page for instance. I love that it holds the phone. So for viewing movies and such, it is great.
