I have a large space above my toilet next to the master shower. It only made sence to put a towel rack there. This item is chrome and new and shiny. Once installed, you could probably hang a lot of weight beyond just towels. I, of course, mounted it to wood beams. Excellently built with quality craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

Excellent shelf BUT no installation instructions provided and the screws and bolts were of very very poor quality! Two anchors broke inside the wall. My husband had to scramble through our bag of extra screws and luckily we found just enough to install this shelf. Four stars due to no instructions and poor quality hardware.

The other reviews were correct that there are no instructions that come with the shelf. It is self-explanatory of how it would be installed if you are a handy person and have tools. The shelf did work and was installed with using other hardware than what came with the shelf.

The mounting hardware is absolutely crap. Anchors will not set and washers are little more substantial than aluminum foil.
