The product is as advertised and great quality it gets 5 stars. One came with my trolling motor so I sent this one back. It's been 7 days since my refund was issued but it still has not been put in my bank account. Amazon gets 2 stars !

Used this for a Minn Kota 72" shaft trolling motor. Very solid. Easy to install and lockable . Love it!!

Product does what it is supposed to do, but I needed to use the cut washers that come with trolling motor to mount to the base plate. Also, you will have to drill the holes deeper to be able to get the bolt that holds the center locking pin for whichever side you want to put it on. Last thing, once it's all mounted, the holes for the handle aren't true enough to have the clearance to go all the way in so those will have to be opened up as well. If you don't mind doing these modifications, this bracket saves about $40 compared to the MK one.

Bought this for my boat and didn't try to install till months later. It didn't work at all. Now it's to late to return this garbage. Lost a $164.

Used this to make the back seats on the leaning post on my center console removable so the boat would fit in the garage, no more taking all 8 screws out and wearing out the threads every time I pull it in.

The only drawback of this is as precise as we installed this, after a day or two, the metal secure bar was so tight, we had to drill out the plastic mount. Others have had the same issue. But otherwise, everything was as expected.

Its very well made and nice tight fit. About as good as it gets. Heavy duty materials for securing a very expensive 72" 112 lbs thrust motor.Would buy this over the expensive version.
