I installed these in my unfinished basement gym. The sound is much better. The "echo" is now gone. Covering up the bare plywood also makes my unfinished gym look better. However, I also wanted these to help quiet some of the upstairs noise while I work out. That is improved. But it is unfortunately minimal.

Due to compressed packaging.. 1 row of the squares were flattened completely and will not expand to natural state . Should knock off at least $40 for a item that may or may not be in the quality that advertised......... Had to cut 1 row off on about every 12x12 piece ..... Don't stick well either. Use adhesive spray before applying.......

I hung them a month ago w/no prep, they're still stuck up even on the ceiling that looks like stucco

I bought these thinking they may be a bit better quality than the cheaper sound panels, but I don’t really believe that after the purchase. The panels come vacuum sealed, so when you open them up there are expected to return to their unpackaged form. Only about half the panels were undamaged, the other half were deformed or damaged in some way. Some panels had what looked like adhesive dripped down the front. I made a return through Amazon, and got the same replacement panels, and it was the same story. About half of the panels were not useable.Also, the adhesive is terrible, and they send you “extra†adhesive tabs to help with problem areas. The problem is that every panel needs extra help to stick on a wall, and they don’t give you enough extra tabs for every panel. And even with the extra tabs the panels still fall off of the wall all of the time. I am constantly having to fix fallen panels. I have a very normal, clean, regular drywall wall…Also the panels that I received were inconsistent. Some were slightly larger or smaller, some were not cut very cleanly. Even the materials from some panels seemed to be different, like some were shinier somehow.So matching these up on a wall and trying to make them look nice/consistent is impossible. I gave up and just settled for putting the ugliest panels in one spot that was harder to notice.And hope you don’t have to send these back. Near impossible to fit these into a single box without being able to vacuum seal them again.Overall a terrible product…don’t waste your time.
