I said I'm not sure yet because the picture is deceiving because the rod comes in section and therefore may not be flexible enough in certain case/situations. You must be careful that the compression of cracking the door to get in is not overdone. With a bendable rod, you can flex it to allow for the opening.

Ça prend un peu d'agilité et parfois pas évident à manœuvrer la perche mais pour ouvrir la fente de la porte pour insérer ladite perche, c'est génial.Ma clé électronique m'a lâché et je n'avais pas de clé physique. C'était un bon prix au lieu de faire venir la remorqueuse à chaque fois !

Got into the wife’s Audi Q7 within 5min. Only tools you need are the air bags, hook, the red tool and maybe a small blue one. Throw the rest away. Go buy pliers from the dollar store and throw them in for taking apart and putting together the hook.
