Unfortunately the two chargers don’t connect. I can get the charging port for the cricut into the cricut, but not the outlet charger into the cricut charger.

I bought my Cricut Explorer from a co-worker who had been lending it out to others to see if they liked the craft. Eventually I bought the machine and the only problem I’ve had is with the cord. Since the machine was basically used as a traveling machine the cord had been wound and un-wound so many times it was starting to randomly stop.I was happy to find this replacement cord with the same specs as the original, 18V/2.5A, because I noticed some cords were 3A. It was a little challenging to plug the AC cord into the power supply but eventually got it plugged in with a rolling type of motion. I connected up the new power cord to the Cricut and it started right up. I made a couple of simple projects without having to start over.

I have a cricut Explorer air 2 and this adapter works perfectly . I have not had any issues.
